
Asif Islam
Director/Producer
Asif Islam is contributing to the cinema scene through his technical excellence and knowledge. While working as a Director/DOP most of the time under the umbrella of his own company, RedMark Productions Asif also teaches at the Bangladesh Cinema and Television Institute (BCTI) as a visiting lecturer.
Asif Islam has studied MA in Audio Visual Productions at the London Metropolitan University, with his passion extending to films and documentary productions. One of the highlighting skillset is his unorthodox thought process and keen respectful interest in experimental films concepts, ideas, formats, and processes.

Muhammad Anwar Hossain
Writer/Producer
Muhammad Anwar Hossain is a writer, maker, and producer based in Dhaka. He creates his works on his surroundings, experiences, and thoughts from all over the globe, but loves to tell the narrative with common tools but with a new vision, dimensions, and more inclusive manners which is trying to make new meaning of the existing image. His interests and influences are from pop art to high art and everything in between. His works are selected in various festivals, mainly in Europe. His debutant short film “HOME” was the official selection at Ji.hlava IDFF 2018 and his produced short film “A Boring Film” is part of Locarno 2020, a first from Bangladesh.
Anwar loves to write film reviews in Bengali for the journal, but mainly he writes screenplays for film, his ongoing writing film project are “The Crossroad” (In Pre-production), “Rebirth of Mrs. Chowdhury” (Pre-preproduction), “Madhumita”, “Adventure of Titli” and “Imaginary Biography of a Poet” etc.

Ben Roberts
Composer
Ben Roberts has been playing cello since he was 6 years old. He has grade 8 classical training and 20 years of experience in bands, orchestras, studios, on stages, on tours, under stages in the pit, big festivals, small festivals, and so many more. He has played rock, pop, classical, goth, ambient, folk, doom, punk, shoegaze, cowpunk, and all kinds of other various genres. But at the heart of it all, he loves the joy of helping bring someone’s song to life, adding a new texture and a new dimension, and helping them realize the sound they’ve had in their head.

Sukanta Majumdar
Sound Designer
Sukanta Majumdar is an award-winning sound designer of films and theatre, based in Kolkata, India. He studied audiography at SRFTI, Kolkata, and has worked with many renowned directors, including Siddiq Barmak of Afghanistan (Opium War, 2008). Sukanta also creates works in soundart and in 2010, he went on a visiting fellowship to the London College of Communication, where he did a work of sound installation. Moreover, he is the field recordist of the ethnomusicological project. Sukanta also teaches and writes on sound.
